Dogs didn’t just inspire Dalmatia BnB, they helped make it possible. Founded by U.S. Army Veteran Rebecca Price, Dalmatia BnB grew out of a deeply personal journey of healing, resilience, and rediscovering purpose. What began as a therapeutic connection with dogs has evolved into a thriving dog training, boarding, and Dalmatian breeding business in Clinton, Missouri. Rebecca built her business on education, intention, and an unwavering commitment to doing right by both dogs and their people.

"I began Dalmatia BnB in 2021 because I learned how therapeutic dogs can be," Rebecca said. "I'm an Army veteran, and dogs have been huge in my personal transformation and healing from PTSD."

After becoming service-disabled, Rebecca found that working with dogs gave her structure, focus, and a sense of calm that traditional treatments alone couldn’t provide. That deeply personal experience shaped not only why Dalmatia BnB exists, but how it operates: with empathy, patience, and a keen focus on wellbeing.

Expertise You Can Feel in Every Interaction

Rebecca brings an exceptional level of education and training to her work. With two master’s degrees in psychology-related fields, she has a deep understanding of learning theory, behavior, and how genetics and environment influence temperament. That academic foundation is paired with hands-on expertise, including Red Cross Pet CPR and First Aid certification and four months of immersive training at the Tom Rose School of Professional Dog Training.

This combination allows Rebecca to confidently handle everything from basic obedience to advanced behavior modification, agility, tracking, and scent detection. Clients see results and feel reassured knowing their dogs are in capable, educated hands.

Dalmatia BnB officially opened its doors in 2022 in Clinton, Missouri, and as demand grew, Rebecca hired her first employee at the end of last year. This marked an exciting milestone that signified her transition from solo operator to small business owner with a growing team.

And despite the long hours and responsibilities, her passion hasn’t faded.

"I love my job and my job loves me back," Rebecca said.

Raising Dalmatians with Intention

Rebecca’s Dalmatian breeding program reflects the same care and restraint she brings to every part of her business. What began as a family decision sparked by her children asking for a puppy evolved into a carefully researched and health-focused breeding program.

Rather than following trends, Rebecca was drawn to the Dalmatian breed for its intelligence, athleticism, and unique personality. She prioritized health testing, veterinary approval, and proper timing before ever proceeding with breeding. Her first litter validated that approach, producing healthy puppies with excellent temperaments — one of whom went on to complete professional training and excel in obedience and agility.

Dalmatia BnB limits breeding to one litter per year, ensuring Juliet, the mother, has ample time to recover. Puppies are raised using Puppy Culture methods, with daily individual attention and early exposure to sounds, textures, people, and other animals. The result is confident, resilient dogs prepared for life beyond the kennel.

Rebecca also extends her support far beyond adoption day. Puppy families become part of an ongoing community, with access to updates, shared milestones, and lifelong training support—including free phone or video consultations whenever challenges arise.

Outgrowing Basic Tools and Finding the Right Fit

As Dalmatia BnB expanded, Rebecca quickly realized that running a professional pet-care facility required more than spreadsheets, paper records, and disconnected marketing tools. She initially used Revelation Pets, Gingr’s sister company, which served her well in the early stages. But as her client base grew and operations became more complex, she needed something more powerful.

Like many small business owners, Rebecca experimented with multiple marketing platforms, often at significant cost, only to find they didn’t integrate well or deliver meaningful results.

"I researched so many different customer email marketing apps and sites," she said. "After too many dollars wasted on programs that failed to serve my needs, Gingr proved to have it all in one place!"

With Gingr, Rebecca finally had a centralized system that combined client communication, lead capture, documentation, scheduling, and compliance tracking, all without juggling multiple tools.

Features That Made a Furever Difference

One of the biggest wins for Rebecca was Gingr’s built-in email marketing and lead forms, which allowed her to attract new clients while automatically capturing their contact information. This made follow-ups easier and helped turn inquiries into long-term customers.

Training notes became another standout feature. With detailed records attached directly to each dog’s profile, Rebecca could track progress, share insights with pet parents, and maintain consistency—even as her team grew.

Operationally, small efficiencies added up fast. Simple actions—like quickly adding lodging services with a single click—saved time and reduced friction during busy booking periods.

Perhaps most critical was Gingr’s immunization tracking, which plays a vital role in maintaining USDA compliance. Moving away from paper records eliminated the risk of expired vaccines slipping through the cracks. During a random USDA inspection, Rebecca was able to instantly provide every record requested. She said this is something that would have been far more stressful without a digital system.

Measurable Growth and More Time to Lead

With Gingr handling the backend, Rebecca gained something every business owner craves: Time. Time to focus on strategy, staff, client relationships, and future growth. And, of course, the dogs!

"Gingr has been instrumental in my businesses growth. I have more time to work on other aspects of my business," she said.

That operational clarity translated into stronger marketing results, including a significant increase in social media attention and engagement, which in turn translates to real-life clients.

"My Facebook following has gone from 500 to 2,500 followers since I began with Gingr," Rebecca said.

Rebecca also values Gingr’s affordability, accessible support team, and the convenience it offers pet parents, especially the ability for clients to book appointments themselves through a dedicated app.

"I owe a lot to Gingr for my businesses success," she said.
