Gingr PreCheck is effective for all reservation types, including grooming, boarding, and training. For instance, if you run a grooming business, you can configure the PreCheck form to allow clients to confirm their requested style, add special instructions, and add a nail grind and teeth brushing service before they drop off. 

Can I customize my PreCheck form?

Yes, you can configure the form to suit your business’s needs and collect information about the pet parent, their pet, and the reservation itself. You have control over exactly what customers see and can act on, including:

  • Pet and pet parent fields (e.g., updating emergency contacts or vet info).
  • Agreements, such as signing liability waivers.
  • Items and belongings, allowing customers to list the belongings they drop off
  • Medications and feeding instructions
  • Add-ons that pet parents can purchase during check-in
  • Arrival alerts (e.g., "I'm Here" button for curbside notification)
How do my customers receive the PreCheck form?

Gingr will automatically send a PreCheck invitation via email or SMS text message. Pet parents will receive the invitation prior to their appointment—when they receive it is up to you (e.g., 48 hours before the appointment). This invitation will take the customer directly to a secure form, ensuring they can confirm their pet’s information at their convenience.

Can Gingr PreCheck help me generate additional revenue?

As customers click through the check-in steps, you can present them with add-on services or treats, such as a nail trim or a bonus enrichment activity. What happens if a customer forgets to complete the PreCheck form before arrival?

PreCheck is an optional convenience tool designed to speed up check-in, not a barrier to your services. If a customer arrives without completing the PreCheck form, your team can simply check them in using the standard in-person process at the front desk.
