In our recent webinar, “Unleash a Perfect Schedule,” we explored how Gingr's calendar functionalities allow pet businesses to manage appointments and reservations efficiently.
The session began by introducing the four calendar types: facility, lodging, availability, and calendar sync. Let's take a look at each below:
Facility Calendar: The facility calendar displays all appointments and services, offering multiple views (agenda, day, week, month), rescheduling options, and the ability to block availability for time off. It can be accessed from dashboard widgets or the calendar icon in the left navigation. Users can:
- Reschedule and adjust service durations by dragging
- Reassign services to different users
- Use filtering options for a customized view
Lodging Calendar: Need to know who is staying where at your facility? This calendar shows any user a weekly view of your facilities' areas and lodgings. This allows the user to see lodging assignments for each of the animals in the facility. The user can edit reservations directly from this page, see when reservations start and end, see when a lodging transfer is occurring, and even drag and drop reservations to a different lodging.
Availability Calendar: The availability calendar indicates capacity status at a glance for both customers and facilities. Once you hit capacity, the calendar will show as not available for those specific days. Availability calendar setup requires defining capacity limits for locations and/or reservation types, showing a simple display of available or unavailable dates.
Calendar Sync: The calendar sync feature, still in beta, offers four URL options for syncing different types of information and supports color coding for appointments and reservation types.
By understanding and utilizing these Gingr calendar functionalities, pet-care businesses can enhance their scheduling processes, ensuring efficient and stress-free management of appointments and reservations.
