Founded in 1963 by Bill and Marie Kramer, the facility initially served the community's growing need for a boarding space as West St. Louis expanded. Bill, a natural with dogs, showcased some of the top Dalmatians and Dobermans in the country, including their prized Doberman, Hope. Over time, Bill and Marie also became respected judges in the dog show circuit.

In 1981, Bonnie and Edward Rowley took the reins, bringing their children Todd and Tiffany into the fold. By the early 90s, they expanded the facility with a new cattery and office space. Todd, deeply embedded in the family business, officially took over in 2000, continuing the legacy with a passion for pet care that spans boarding, grooming, training, and daycare services.
