Convenience Fees: Offset Processing Costs

Convenience FeesIn addition to Memberships, we introduced Convenience Fees, a feature that helps businesses recoup payment processing costs by applying a flat-rate transaction fee.

How Convenience Fees Work

  • Available exclusively for Gingr Payments users.
  • Applies a $4.50 flat fee per card transaction.
  • Automatically added to applicable invoices.
  • Compliant with industry regulations and designed to help businesses maintain profitability.

Things to Keep in Mind

  • The fee is applied to all card-not-present transactions, including online payments and stored card charges.
  • It does not apply to recurring payments (such as Membership renewals).
  • Customers are transparently notified of the fee during checkout.

By implementing Convenience Fees, businesses can significantly offset processing costs and improve their bottom line without raising service prices across the board.
