Located in the heart of Simi Valley, California, the Simi Valley Pet Resort has evolved from a humble establishment to a thriving haven for pets under the guidance of Steve Becker. The facility consists of over 3,100 square feet of climate-controlled open space, a Full-service Grooming Salon, and cozy overnight boarding areas.
Founded in 2017 by the previous owner, the pet resort embarked on a new trajectory when Steve and his co-owner took over. “The company was started in 2017 by the previous owner. We started the purchase negotiations in January 2020. By April 1, 2020, we had moved the business to a new location and due to COVID, we only had about 10 dogs a day averaging at the facility. Now we average about 60 a day and have a staff of 15," Steve reveals, showcasing their rapid expansion despite the challenges posed by the pandemic.
